IMPORTANT NOTE! As of April 1st, 2017, we now offer a five-year health guarantee if your puppy is started on and maintained on Life’s Abundance dog food throughout their lifespan. Check this out by clicking on the bag of dog food in the sidebar to the right.

Our health guarantee ensures that the puppy you choose is in good health, to the best of our knowledge, at the time of sale. The puppy is guaranteed to be free from genetic and/or life-threatening diseases. We provide a five-year health guarantee if your puppy is started on and kept on Life’s Abundance dog food; otherwise, the guarantee is limited to one year. A licensed veterinarian must examine the puppy within five working days of purchase, or there will be NO GUARANTEE from the breeder. This contract does NOT cover internal or external parasites or viruses.

If the puppy is found to be unfit for purchase, the breeder must be notified by the buyer, and a written statement from a licensed veterinarian acceptable to both parties must be provided before any replacement is made. In the event of the puppy’s death, a necropsy must be performed to determine the cause. Dachshund World will not be responsible for these charges. We do not offer cash refunds; instead, we provide replacements when available. If a replacement is made, the purchase price will apply towards another puppy of equal value when available. The puppy must be returned within five days, along with all AKC paperwork and health records (unless the puppy has passed away).

Puppies are wormed every two weeks and receive age-appropriate vaccines. You will receive a health record. The buyer agrees to maintain the puppy’s health with yearly vaccines, heartworm protection, and regular vet checkups.

We DO NOT guarantee the size, weight, coat, color, skin condition, temperament, or training ability of this puppy/dog. Regarding breeding rights, we DO NOT guarantee the breeding ability of this puppy/dog.

Spaying/Neutering: We require that the puppy be spayed/neutered by six months of age unless sold for breeding or show purposes. After the puppy is spayed/neutered, the AKC registration application will be mailed to the customer. Exceptions may be accepted in writing from a veterinarian.

If, for any reason, the buyer is unable to care for the puppy, the buyer promises to contact the breeder to find a loving home for the puppy/dog. The buyer agrees NOT to take the puppy/dog to an animal shelter for any reason. No money will be refunded. Once the puppy leaves the breeder’s property, all sales are final.
